Ford E-350 Powerstroke Diesel Box Truck in Woodland Hills, CA

$6,999 Ford E-350 Powerstroke Diesel Box Truck

1998 Ford E-350 Powerstroke Diesel Box Truck. 1998 Ford E-350 Powerstroke Diesel Box Truck. As this truck can serve many purposes, my reason for purchase was to use to transport my motorcycles and equipment to the race track. Rather than having a truck and a trailer, this amazing machine serves as 2 in 1 without having an additional piece of equipment to store, but also no worries with connections, wiring, and back up experience. It has an aluminum loading ramp in the rear which stores within the frame and installs flush with the interior for ease of loading. The additional amazing feature is the side entry door that has curbside and height entry with stairs to walk up into the rear. With the bikes unloaded, it was easy to use the rear as a dressing room and hangout with lots of room to stand up and walk around with ease or even sit on chairs inside. The rear has metal cabinets on the driver side which serves as storage for parts and tools or anything imaginable. The rear is also setup with an aluminum track setup to accept the Moto-Cinch System which is a motorcycle strap system that holds the bikes in place by their pegs. The track goes wall to wall with loads of adjustment. The rail will stay in the truck however no motocinch brackets will not be included with the sale. We have fit as many as 4 motorcycles and gear but 3 seems to be the comfortable setup with full gear, i.e. EZups, chairs, generator, tools, and riding gear. There is a door to pass through from the drivers compartment to the rear as well as interior lights controlled ny a separate switch and battery in the rear. I performed a lot of maintenance and upgrades. I installed 4 new tires on the rear as the fronts were still in great shape with lots of tread. I installed new Munroe gas Shocks on the front and rear, new pads, rotors, and bearings on the front. I have new rear leaf springs that have not yet been installed but will be included with the sale. Performed a front alignment and a few worn out components were replaced, I have the receipt somewhere saying what parts were changed. I removed the old style side frame mirrors and installed new late model Ford mirrors that extend outward. Rebuilt the turbo with Comp Turbo, oil change, transmission fluid and filter change, as well as differential fluid change. There appears to be a slight engine oil leak and appears to be the oil pan gasket. A custom air intake was built with an open element filter, as well as removal of the old rusty muffle and installed a turn down pipe after the resonator. Upon purchasing the truck from a seller in Chicago, There was quite a bit of surface rust on the frame and the rear bumper should be replaced eventually. The roll up door opens and closes fine, however the lower panel has rusted through and should be repaired or replaced, however as is works just fine. The exterior is white and the box is in great shape except for the door as you can see previous lettering from it possibly being a work truck on the rear roll up and the rust on the lower door. The body is straight but there are chips on the front of hood and bumper and the fiberglass at the top corners of the box have surface cracks but are insulated from the inside. The interior of the truck is in very good shape for its age and mileage of 260K. The A/C blows cold and works great! The ABS light is on but from what I have read it is most likely the speed sensor in the rear differential which needs to be cleaned and reinstalled or replaced which costs under $20. The battery light is on for some reason but it starts up with ease and the alternator is charging fully while running. The O/D button on the column shifter is broken and does not work. The seats have inexpensive Pep Boys bought seat covers because the driver seat is torn. There is a pop out screen stereo that works but the interior speakers are not very good. There is no navigation module installed but it is setup to work with the proper unit. The Audio is transferrable to the rear box where there are 2 strong exterior type Phoenix Gold Speakers which is a great option when hanging out in the pitts, the desert with your dirt bikes, or if using as a work shop on the Job. All in all this is an amazing and very helpful/useful machine.
