Tone King Meteor II Guitar Amplifier Model 740 in Woodland Hills, CA

This is a superb example of a Tone King Meteor II combo. Mark Bartel in Baltimore runs a one-person shop and does exceptional cabinetry and hand-wiring to create one of the finest "boutique" amplifiers on the market today. It has been rarely used since first bought in 2005 and the model has since been discontinued by Bartel, thus making it rare. Unlike Tone King's early offerings which resemble retro 50s television consoles, the Meteor II succeeds in being both traditional and sleekly modern. It is, without question, an elegant amp.
It puts out 40 watts, perfect for a club situation (or even larger!), but can also be run at half-power, 20 watts, useful for bedroom situations. Two channels exist
