OBO Built Track Bike w. Carbon Components in Woodland Hills, CA

$625 OBO Built Track Bike w. Carbon Components

I decided that I'll be pursuing road biking and I will be parting with my beloved track bike. I wanted a track bike that was light, yet still allowed riding on less than perfect roads. I went with a chromoly 4130 frame and carbon components when possible. This bike has not been tricked/jumped/hoped. It's never been crashed or hit. It has been dropped once while trying to unclip at a stop light. The clip in pedals show some light scuffs and there is minimal wear from moving stuff in the garage.Always stored indoors. Never ridden in the rain. No rust.Frame was professional stripped & powder coated British Racing Green while it was brand new. It's a perfect track/street/commuter bike as it's light but it can take a beating. The carbon fork, handle bar and seat post do a great job controlling harsh roads. All of the components are top notch and you can daily this bike if you wanted as well as take it on a century ride. Gearing is easy enough to accelerate, but not to the point where you run out of gear too fast. I've taken this bike up Stunt Road to Old/New Topanga Canyon and ridden it for commuting.I'm 5'8/165lbs but this bike can grow/shrink comfortably within that range.Tires have less than 15 miles on them. The mechanics have always been properly cleaned and lubed with professional degreaser and lubrication from Performance Bicycle.Aways assembled by a professional bike shop (almost always Performance Bicycle - Woodland Hills). The saddle has always been properly cared for using leather conditioner. The picture does not show the Ritchey Clip In's. The strap-in pedals are long gone. It also has a brushed wheel finish on the front wheels to accomodate a front brake setup.Headlight/taillight and iPhone holder are not included.I spent too much on this track bike ($1500), so I hope this goes to someone that will appreciate it. Hopefully someone that will ride it day in and day out, not jump down a set of stairs with it. Nothing wrong with tricking, just expensive parts to do so on.Eighth Inch Scrambler V2 Chromoly Frame 53CM Powder-coated British Racing Green ($150)Velocity B43 Wheelset Brushed/Black ($215)Origin 8 Hubs - Anodized Gold ($40)Sugino Messenger RD2 Crankset 36t- Black ($199)Sugino Messenger Bottom Bracket ($50)Izumi ECO Chain Black ($16.99)Forte Pro Carbon Road Handlebars ($169)Ritchey HMF Pro Carbon Road Fork ($349)Ritchey WCS 4-Axis Stem ($100)Ritchey Pro Peloton SE Road Clip In Pedals - Anodized Red ($135)Aheadset ZeroStack Headset ($25)Brooks B17 Narrow Leather Saddle - Brown ($110)FSA Carbon Seat Post 20mm Setback ($50)Surly Track COG 18t ($25)Chain Tensioners ($15)Continental Ultra Sport 700x25 ($40)No trades, cash only.
